Characteristics
These 250/350 shrimp are small but what they lack for in size, they make up for in flavor! Sweet, delicious and with a more delicate texture than larger shrimp.
If you’re looking for a slightly larger pink shrimp, use Canadian shrimp (Pandalus borealis).
For Your Menu
Get them fresh when you can, frozen when you can’t. Either way, keep it simple – a light and fresh ceviche, tossed with pasta or worked into a risotto – these tiny shrimp are packed with flavor (but don’t overwhelm them).
For Your Waitstaff
Remind your guests that these are a super sustainable option (and they are Marine Stewardship Council certified).
For Your Retail Display
Since these little shrimp come in cooked they are perfect for sampling. Once your customers taste these sweet morsels they will be hooked!
