Harvested from the pristine waters surrounding the Coromandel Peninsula, the flavor of these oysters reflects the nutrient-rich and pollution-free waters from which they are harvested. Coromandel’s are medium-size oysters with a deep cup. They have a clean, fresh flavor with a rich, briny liquor, and a slight cucumber finish. Since they are harvested during New Zealand’s colder months, they have a firm, plump and buttery texture.
