Obviously, their size is their first marked characteristics – U/5’s!  Pull the sweet, juicy meat from the tail, and use the heads and bodies for stocks, soups or sauces.  100% Yield is the name of the game with these amazing prawns.  Shells remain red when cooked and the meat is a bright white.  Order by the box or the case.

For Your Menu

Carabineros Shrimp are growing in popularity in the U.S. Obviously their price point means they aren’t meant for all menus, but if you can feature this amazing seafood your customers are in for a treat!

For Your Waitstaff

Wow your customers with your command of the Spanish language! Let them know that Carabineros means  “Police” in Spain, and that customs police in Spain and Portugal wear bright red uniforms that same color as these delicious shrimp!

For Your Retail Display

The high price point of these Prawns make them an unlikely choice for most retail counters – however if you are interested in an amazing Prawn let your sales rep know and they will help you order.
